for software manufacturers

 

Under the terms of operative legislation, all domestic accommodation providers, catering establishments and tourist attraction operators must use software certified by the Hungarian Tourism Agency (HTA) which is suitable for reporting data to the NTDSC. There is a wide range of property management systems available that are able to communicate with the NTDSC and that have certification issued by the HTA: at present, accommodation providers can choose from more than 40 software products.

 

After registration, Hungarian accommodation providers are obliged to report data continuously to the NTDSC.
The legislation only requires tourist attractions and catering establishments to report data starting from 1 July 2023.

Connection

Follow the steps below to make an interface-based connection:

  1. Complete the connection questionnaire required for access to the developer’s test environment.
  2. After the connection questionnaire has been processed, as part of a developer’s information package, the applicant will receive the developer’s documentation for the interface, as well as connection details for the test environment, together with the data necessary for access.
  3. After technically successful connection, the HTA together with the property management system developers performs an integration test. This is done by submitting a sample message queue in the test environment using the interface. After the test is completed successfully and the Certificate has been issued, the software is added to the list of certified software products in the appropriate module during NTDSC registration.
